We are home and I need a bed!

Oh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are home!!!!!!!!!!
After an 11 hour flight, in which we have to say that Sofia behaved like a little angel (yes, we were pleasantly surprised that she can be one) we got home.
The renovations on the apartment were beautifully done, but we found our furniture in the kitchen and bathrooms! Oh what a mess! It did not take us long to put everything on its place and feel at home once again. What took a while was to get used to the new time zone... It took Sofia a week to go back to sleeping through the night.
After a week we started looking for furniture for Sofia and here she is with her Papa 'helping' him to assemble her new cot or crib as they called them here.

Our home

We'll start with Sofia's room. That is where we 'recieve' visitors when she is awake, or I should say where she pulls visitors to.

I love our kitchen!

Saying good bye to the UK

It is very hard to say good bye to the UK.
I remember as a child studying about England, but never imagined that that country was going to mean SO MUCH in my life. When I visited its capital when I backpacked through Europe I thought I was not going to set foot on British soil again. Then Chris and I went there for three months and we loved exploring the country, its museums, art galleries, famous cities, country side, etc. We never thought that six months later we would move there and live for two and a half years and in that time experience so many WONDERFUL moments of our life as a couple and now as a family. We loved living there even though we found it a bit difficult sometimes being away from family and friends.
We were very blessed to meet wonderful people there that mean so much for us now and that are in our thoughts and prayers everyday. The list of amazing people is very long and if you live in the UK and you are reading this, you are one of them. To all of you that made our time in the UK so nice, THANK YOU! Believe us, we loved meeting you and we hope to see you again. We have not said a good bye forever, we have said a see you soon and we hope many of you come to visit.
There are no words to say how much each of you means for us. I have to mention especially all the fabulous ladies and babies of the Thursday group. Our Thursdays are never going to be the same, we will miss you terribly. Our love, thoughts and prayers will always be there for all the wonderful friends we made in the UK. Please do come and visit us!

Good bye Club the Peques

Friday afternoons were always full of joy; we attended El Club de Peques where we found dear friends, fun play time and so much more. It was not easy to say good bye to our Spanish speaking friends, but we hope to see you all again. In the meantime, we miss you and we have lovely memories of you all.
