The Isle of Wight

We took some time 'off' from our busy trips, and went on another trip, this time for a quiet weekend to the Isle of Wight; a place we really loved and feel very relaxed in.

Federica's visit

We had a wonderful surprise: Federica and her mum came to visit us all the way from Mauritius. Now Federica is a beautiful young lady, the last time we saw her she was just a 4 month baby. We loved having them over for a short night. It was a real gift to be able to see them again.

Que te quiero mucho Federica!!!!!!!!!! I love you mi friend!

Oh what a walk/hike!

We really enjoyed walking up a hill and having that beautiful landscape. La Abue survived the hike!

Ponteysyllte Aquaduct

This amazing boat transporting aquaduct was built between 1779 and 1805. The view from it was amazing... and yes, it makes you dizzy.

Penrhyn Castle

It is not easy to find words to describe this 19th-century fantasy castle, I would probably say: spectacular and fascinating. We just loved spending a day there.
