This is the 'rabit' cake my Mama made for my birthday party with all my baby friends, it was a delicious carrot cake!

Hardwick Hall

This is one of our favourite National Trust properties, it is really worth it visiting it, so we've done that twice even though it is far from where we live. This is a magnificent house built by a very wealthy woman of the Elizabethan age. The house has an outstanding collection of tapestries and furniture, it is one of Britain's greatest and most complete Elizabethan houses.

Introduction to bicycles

What a lovely day we must say and what a pleasure to introduce to our daughter to the fun of riding a bike. In our stay in Derbyshire we rented bikes and went riding on a beautiful morning enjoying the beautiful country side and most of all enjoying our little Sofia's smiles and laugh.

So Papa, this is a bike... I see... two wheels... one seat...

Baddesley Clinton

This is a lovely National Trust Property that we visited on our way up to the North. This moated house dates from the 15th century and in the interiors you can see how this was a haven for persecuted Catholics.





























Sofia wants to walk with help from Mama most of the time, not so good for Mama's back!

Visits to National Trust Properties

Many National Trust properties are opening their doors again, so we are taking every opportunity we can to visit their mansions, gardens and take lovely walks in their grounds.
