Ashdown House

Yes, yes, another National Trust property. This house has quite an interesting history and architecture. In the middle of the house there is a staircase that actually takes up 25% of the whole building. It is believed that the same architect that designed Buckingham Palace took part in the design of this house.

The view from the roof of the house.

As you can see in the background this house is located in the country side.

Cliveden Gardens

So far this has been one of our favourite Nationa Trust property. Cliveden has a luxurious house that is now a hotel, beautiful walled gardens, fountains, water wardens, walks in the forest, views of the river Thames, etc. This is the Fountain of Love.

In one of the walled gardens you can see shapes like these ones.

The house with its own clock tower, we would love to say that we are considering purchising it, but... actually not, IMAGINE ALL THE CLEANING! (any guesses of who might have thought about that?)

A view of the river Thames from the property.

And for the proud parents, this is the best view: Sofia copying the style of the Queen by wearing a hat!

Greys Court Gardens

We have become members of the National Trust, an organization that looks after heritage places, gardens, castles, manssions, etc. This Friday we visited these beautiful walled gardens.

Oxford

This is a lovely university town that is near our home. We love visiting its colleges and their beautiful chapels. This is the Cathedral, you can go up to the top (near the clock) and have a lovely view of the town.

The Camera of Oxford from the top of the Cathedral.

Kebbel College, one of our favorities.

Visiting Winchester with Grandpapa and Grandmama

Winchester is a city not far from where we live; it used to be the capital of the country hundreds of years ago. The city is lovely and it has a beautiful Cathedral.

This is the altar of the Cathedral, the English author Jane Austin is buried here.

The crypt sometimes gets flooded up to the knees of the statue.
