Sofia's "first" flight
Although already a veteran of flying, in some ways (while in the womb, we figure that Sofia took no fewer than 12 different flights!), this is the first time she was considered a separate passenger. It's really too bad she couldn't collect all the Aeroplan miles from her previous dozen flights; she might actually earn her own place in those fancy frequent flyer lounges!
Although a bit restless before we boarded the plane, (probably just nervous) she was a star on the 4.5 hour flight to Turkey. Like most of us, she would have preferred to have a "lay flat" bed instead of a narrow seat, but her small size made it possible for her to still have a good rest. On the way back, she really proved she was a pro of flying. She slept through the whole flight as if at home! Not a single cry or word the whole time; our fellow passengers might be forgiven for thinking we had carried on a doll so we could board early.
